Neither snow nor sleet deters Struck by Living. I wrote two blogs about my visit to Gaithersburg, MD regarding the FDA trials for ECT. Overall I found the trip pretty discouraging. The FDA seems out of touch with the issue of assessment of risk for better overall health. Their position is a risk-free solution, which doesn't really exist for major medical procedures. A Conflict of Common Sense appeared first, then A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the FDA.
